It works on my iphone, and here is the gesture that I use:

After typing SMS, then a space, then a name that can occur on multiple contacts, and performing the 

 new line gesture, if you are still holding your phone in the same position, you can select the contact of your choice by swiping left or right and then select the desired contact by swiping down, but you still have to hold your phone in the same position you were using while  typing, at least it works like this on my iPhone.

I am a user of the main release version of MBraille and I do not use the beta version. However, I wanted to share some feedback as a main release user.

When I want to call someone, send an SMS, or send a WhatsApp message using the MBraille command mode, if there are multiple contacts with the same first name or surname, MBraille automatically selects the first person and does not allow me to choose among the others by using left or right swipe gestures.

For example, I have three contacts named Fatma A, Fatma B, and Fatma C in my contacts list. I want to send a message to Fatma C or call Fatma C. While in command mode, I enter the relevant command and type “WhatsApp Fatma”. MBraille directly announces that Fatma A has been selected and opens her chat window. It does not show the other contacts named Fatma and does not allow me to select them. Left and right swipe gestures do not work because it automatically selects Fatma A by itself.

The same issue also occurs with contacts who have the same surname. For example, if I want to send a message to or call Can Kaya, Derya Kaya, or Murat Kaya, MBraille again selects the first contact in alphabetical order, which is Can Kaya.

Are you experiencing this issue as well? In Türkiye, we generally save contacts with the first name followed by the surname, so I wanted to give examples in this format.

I hope this issue can be resolved in future updates.
