I also have it speak words, not characters, but I'm probably not fast enough to say for sure, but when a word isn't spoken, it seems
I didn't get the space gesture to take. If I then space, the word is spoken.

I've just tested this new release against Braille screen input, and against the original mBraille app from years ago. I'm still noticing a bit of a lag. I have it set to say words
only and seem to type fast enough that it just doesn't say some words, and then I have to check to make sure they've been typed.
