Hi,

It is recommended to quote the subject, as it may have words which are also in contacts.
The help does not explain this clearly.  Even more robust alternative is to put the the subject as the first word of buffer, as Thomas explains.   There may be a bit too much freedom in how to write the mail command line.

English and French help should be at the same level.

Best regards,
Harri

Hi Jpr!

I suggest you for now use the English help for most updated and documented content. Sorry, for my style of reply before, I thought you had read the English version of the help.

Regarding the MBraille mail list, if you want that, make an alias for it. I think you're seeing the expected result.

Hi Thomas.

Yes that helps, except that quoting the subject is not documented in the user guide, at least not the French one. Now, if you have time, try to put mbrail just these letters as a recipient of the mail command line and tell me if M braille email address appears. It doesn't here and I wonder why, I shouldn't have to type the whole addressed should I

Hi jpr!

Yes, I see the problem in your command.

The issue you are having is because you need to specifiy the subject line between quotes. Another advice is to make the subject the first line of the buffer, and then type the rest of your message like:
Just a test
Hi John!

How are you?

Then go to command mode and type
Mail john

This should get the expected ersults. I cannot reproduce your issue, if I use the qoutes, and that is what help tells you to make proper subject lines. If you don't MBraille will make all the words as receivers of the mail instead.

Hope that helps

Hi.
I have an issue with the mail command. Could every one who wishes to help, try the following command line:

mail john just a test

exactly as it is written, and tell me what happens when this command is executed?
I expect to have a choice between all my contacts with the name John, and the subject to be just a test, but only the word test is in my subject.
I also tried putting my subject between quotes. It helps a bit as the subject line is now as it should be but mbraille  email addresses still do not appear in my contact choice. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for your help,
JPR
