I've experimented a bit more. It's almost like it's saying the word, but I've already moved onto the next word while typing. So it's sometimes a word behind. Everything that I'm writing is correct, no missed spaces. I feel like there's not really a lag with the actual input of text, but maybe more with the speaking of the words. I may disable speaking words and see if typing flows more smoothly.

I've just tested this new release against Braille screen input, and against the original mBraille app from years ago. I'm still noticing a bit of a lag. I have it set to say words only and seem to type fast enough that it just doesn't say some words, and then I have to check to make sure they've been typed.
