I too can confirm the same behavior on iOS. The text in the buffer is not placed on the clipboard upon exiting MBraille beta. If something was already on the clipboard at the time the beta is launched, it remains on the clipboard afterward, uneffected. If the clipboard was empty at time of launch, it remains empty after.

I have recently checked the 2 issues others are having with the beta. I can confirm with Richard that I can’t paste into a 3rd party app after composing text with MBraille beta. I turned off UEB and just used contracted Braille only. I was able to expand both dot 6-y (ally) and dot 6-n (ation). For me. I use UEB and those contractions have been eliminated due to confusion with other Braille contractions or to make the Braille look more what a sighted person would see in print. HTH.
I will post again with other issues I have been having when I Braille certain contractions in UEB.

Lang command fixed. If you know multiple languages and wish to type in Braille using another language, swipe up with 3 fingers to enter command mode, and the type lang two-letter-code for language and swipe down. Example:

Note that if you are not using VoiceOver but self voicing in the braille keyboard, the voice also changes to native Italian speaker voice.
