Hi,

It is

lang ueb

for UEB braille.   But contractions are not involved, you manage those once in the language, hold 6  and swipe up to toggle.

Alias command is still not available other than via editing alias.mb file.  I have a todo item regarding it.

Best regards,
Harri

Hi Harry and all.
The lang command now works, but I am not shure about the sintax. Lang fr switches to French, but lang ebu says ebu not supported, but does switch to English contractions.
Is any one lucky with the alias command? I can't get it to work. That's entering command mode and typing alias. Is this right?
Cheers,
JPR

Hi all,

Another release has arrived.  The cloud document support is still under work, but other important fixes are now live.

# Version 0.7.0

* Changed Slovak Braille to use latest liblouis tables.
* Updated liblouis tables for other languages as well.

Other fixes:

* Fixed some issues when announcing accented characters when backspacing before expansion.  Expansion happens when you swipe for space or newline.
* some command history handling cleanup.

Command History Reminder: Hold dot 4 and swipe up or down to browse and re-execute previous commands.

* Improved self voicing voice selection.
* lang command fixed and finetuned, uses previous improvement.

Example:

On iOS, if your phone langue is English, MBraille will use VoiceOver for speaking by default.
If you change your language to French with command "lang fr", MBraille will use self voicing, TTS French voice.
By default it picks the first French voice if finds, but you can go to settings and pick a different French voice if you wish, and that choice sticks.

If you switch back to English, it will revert to using VoiceOver.

* Commands are now translated, at least partly.  You can always use the English form, or the translated form.

Note that if you don't have this email handy and wonder what has changed in MBraille lately, you can issue the changelog command.  Swipe up with 3 fingers and type changelog, or "registro de cambios" if your phone is in Spanish, or ændringslog in Danish.  :)

Best regards,
Harri
