I did not actually test the iOS version myself, only Android, so there is a small chance that the settings will not work any more.  A much bigger chance is that settings are now better though.

Regarding selection handling, I think my fix might have caused regression in selecting from cursor to beginning of text gesture... that came up red in my regression tests.
It can also be a bug in the test itself.

Anyway. the fixes are worth it, and I will take a look at the possible regression for the next release.
