Hi everybody, This release got a fair bit of changes and polishing. It should address most if not all feedback i've gotten. Probably some of the fixes do not fully work, or some new kinks surfaced. The audio setup was overhauled, best results are expected using self voicing. it uses audio ducking without interrupting background audio. If you notice unbearable lag or other issues, I will do an instrumented release that records the events for me to play back. That said, this should be a net positive release, and i'm starting to prepare for a public release. If you notice any show-stoppers, or even smaller bugs, do let me know. On my todo there is mainly double checking cloud sync and storage working. Best regards, Harri
Hi Harri! Sorry, I have huge problems entering text with this release. I notice a long delay when I type fast. Actually the clicks from my phone can't follow me anymore, so it feels like MBraille tries to catch up, but in many cases it can't. This is especially noticeable with a light voice like Eddy US English. I cannot get vibration for spelling errors to work. What is the default swipe sensitivity just so we can reference this value? I think I got something to work around 39 before the release 0.9.25. But wanted to test the default value out for reference. Best regards Thomas Sendt fra min Macbook Pro via Apple mail

I also am having the same experience. It's not only the clicks but announcements too. There is a very noticeable lag, and sometimes, the speech is not spoken at all. This is especially noticeable when swiping left several times fast to delete characters or double swiping left to delete words. But it's also there for everything else. For example, if you swipe down with 3 fingers repeatedly, at least half the time, it will not announce, "text cleared."

Hi Harri, On my Pixel 8 Pro, I am also getting very slow response from the tts when I type fast using the Braille keyboard. My sensitivity is set to 39. Best regards Daniel

I'd add that, other than slow, typing deleting does not work reliably. Getting message "beginning of text" even if I'm not at beginning. Sent from my iPhone On Apr 6, 2026, at 5:31 PM, Daniel K. Hi Thomas and the rest, Thanks for the quick feedback. I'll concentrate on the lag issue over the next days. Obviously something is wrong. Best regards, Harri On Monday, April 6th, 2026 at 10:47 PM, Thomas Byskov Dalgaard via MBraille-Test <mbraille-test@lists.mpaja.com> wrote:
