Hi Harri, I'm trying to use the cal command, but having problems having it inserted into the calendar app on the phone. I have read the help in'structions and used different formats for the date and time. Can you assist me in any tricks of the trade to be successful in this task. Thanks in advance. I just did a test by going into command mode with the three finger swipe up. I then wrote the line starting with "cal" below, then swipe down with 1 finger and gave MBraille complete access to my calendar. Here is exactly what I wrote cal Mbraille test, feb 21, 2026, 9AM to 10AM Note the commas. It worked perfectly. Hi Richard, Thanks for your help and the expample in your email. After several attempts, I was successful in making a calendar entry. It was the commas that I forgot to add. Thanks again. Best, Eileen Sent from my iPhone

Hi everybody, Regarding calendar entries, the latest version made those even simpler to enter. I tested with with the following strings: cal Dinner in town, Feb 28 at 9pm cal Concert, March 15 at 20:30 cal Theater, Mar 15 7pm to 9pm cal Dentist tomorrow at noon cal Dentist tomorrow at 5pm cal Lunch with Jane friday at 13 So something that looks like a date or time range in the beginning and title in the beginning, and it should usually get it right. Now it also announces the event it enters, hours with 24 hour clock. Hi, I’m finally getting the hang of calendar entries. The only item I’m having is placing an alert placed in the calendar entry on the phone. If I used a comma after the time and anew line, would that work to place the alert inthe calendar app? Thanks. Best, Eileen Sent from my iPhone

Hi Eileen, You can just add an alert to end of line. "alert 30" for example, which defaults to minutes. So using my examples: cal Mbraille Test1 Feb 26 6pm to 9pm alert 30 cal Lunch with Jane friday at 13 alert 1 hour It default to minutes unless you add units. But I just noticed that it does not announce the alert created, I will fix that. Thanks for triggering!
