Hi, I did give self voicing a go on this latest release. I do have a strong preference for use of voiceover voice. Advantages to that include: 1. I think more friendly audio routing. I guess it may be possible to fix the audio interrupt thing on self voicing? Interesting finding with the legacy MBraille. Salf voicing does conflict with music playback, while the new line sound does not. 2. consistency with voice volume. There are times when I will have voiceover voice volume set quite low, if I have the volume on phone turned up for listening to poorly mastered media. Then other times when I will have the voice volume quite maxed, for making sure I can hear it over top of sports broadcasts. Self voicing could lead to jumps in voice volume when switching between MBraille and other apps. 3. There are a few points where self voicing and voiceover voices talk simultaneously. App initialization and going into settings. This is probably solvable. I do see the appeal in that feature where MBraille could jump to the point of speech interrupt. I just think there is a lot lost if users are forced to use self-voicing. Spell check seems to be broken in this latest release. Keith

Hi,
As I'm not sure when I can do the next release, I'm putting this out, as it has couple if important fixes, even if I still have many things to clean.
Main change is that self-voicing is now the default in the kb. You can leave VoiceOver or TalkBack on, but when in braille kb, self voicing is used. There is a switch to force VoiceOver user in settings, but I suggest you try without.
Reason for this is that I have much more control over self-voicing than VoiceOver/TalkBack, so I believe it will be better in the long run. For example, deletions are announced with a lower pitch. I will also be able to implement voice cursor moving text cursor, so if you interrupt a long text read, you will not be thrown into beginning. This last feature is still in my todo.
