I will be restarting my podcast soon, and together with MBraille, this could be a great topic if you don't mind. My questions would be: - Is the app free or paid? - What languages is it available in? - Does it have a help guide, or could you write an app review/introduction that I could use to spark my listeners' interest? I know this is MBraille test list. That said, I'm dusting of Viskey, the low vision keyboard which has "enjoyed" a similar hiatus as MBraille.
In case you are interested, or have friends who might be interested, feel free to spread the word and get in contact with me.
I'm aware of Flotype, which is doing a similar thing, but which is English only,. Viskey is multilingual and has a little bit different goals anyway, not so focused on typing fast, more focused on typing accurately and more aimed at low vision users.
Target audiences for Viskey are:
- Someone who almost can see the iPad keyboard, but not quite - Non English users - People having Achromatopsia - And others who like to type a character at a time
Viskey does support VoiceOver, so even fully blind users can use it, but it will not be so different from the stock Apple keyboard for them, maybe worse.
