Here is the detailed list of our findings: - Continuous Dot Calibration Issue: After performing the initial dot calibration, the app constantly asks to input the dots (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) almost every time a new action is performed. For example, when using a dot command to open a file, before we can even select the file, the app forces us to calibrate the dots again. This significantly slows down the workflow, and unlike in previous versions, there is no option to permanently disable this "learning/exploration" mode. - VoiceOver Speech Integration Bugs: When "Use VoiceOver speech" is enabled in the audio settings, the app's internal prompts and questions are not spoken aloud. - When a dialogue box pops up, VoiceOver remains silent, leaving the user to guess that an option needs to be selected. - Furthermore, because the app constantly interrupts to ask for dot calibration at these prompts, we cannot use the standard one-finger left/right swipes to navigate between the options. - For example, when opening a test .txt file, editing it, and trying to close it, VoiceOver does not announce the "Do you want to save?" question; only the visual option appears. Due to the forced dot calibration screen overlay, it is very easy to accidentally save over the file. If we happen to be at the beginning of the file, it overwrites the entire document. For now, we are forced to use the default built-in self-voicing mode to avoid this. - Cloud Services Sync: Among the available cloud services, only OneDrive seems to work correctly. Hello. Thanks for allowing me to join. I have been away from MBraille for years, because I am a fan of Braille Screen Input, but I also promote choice, and MBraille has potential. After using the app again, I can duplicate the bugs listed here, but I'm pretty sure that, at least on my iPhone 16+, the Braille keyboard, one handed or otherwise, will randomly change orientation, despite my phone being locked to portrait; even Braille Screen Input is locked to landscape which I'm comfortable with on the phone. This makes typing in MBraille difficult. One minute you are typing in one orientation; next the orientation changes without rhyme or reason. Thank you once again. Since I have been using Self-Voicing mode, I have not had to redo the dot locations. Are you using VoiceOver rather than the self-voicing mode perhaps? I also have not had any orientation changes. Yes, I am using VoiceOver, rather than self-voicing, with or without VoiceOver. I also have feedback regarding the one handed Braille keyboard. The dot numbers are not announced either with VoiceOver or self-voicing. Please announce dot numbers in a future update. Hi Harri! I recently heard about the first bug,but have not encountered this one on my device. I have tried quite hard to duplicate it. Steps to reproduce would be very helpful in that regard. Dropbox seems to work fine here, but I must say that my focus was mainly on typing and using MBraille in different cases. I have not tested the one-hand-layout and other cloud storage providers. Regarding selection in dialog boxes, it would be very helpful if MBraille could show labels for different phone numbers. For instance I have multiple contacts where I have their work and private numbers, if I use sms-command or mail-command MBraille can not show me which number/mail I have in focus, like: Harri, mobile or Harri, work Another detail I discovered today: On my phone that I use for work, I saw MBraille had the update to 26.x in App store. On my phone, where MBraille is installed via Testflight the update has not ben shown in App Store at all. Hi All, HERE are some items I've seen in using MBraille with voiceover. 1. inconsistently, the command mode is activated when I first open MBraille. I'm not aware that this is the case until a shortcut to access "SMS" or "CAL" when I swipe down for a new line. 2. With voiceover on, I will open the app and I need to reset the Braille dot locations. 3. From time to time, the orientation will change to portrait, even though orientation is locked. It happened a few minutes ago and I landed in the app switcher. I needed to close out the app and reopen it. 4: Sometimes I totally lose voiceover speech.
