Old mBraille still more accurate and question about swipe sensitivitysetting
Hello, I just tried using the old mBraille and feel like, although this is now more accurate than before, the old one was registering my taps more precisely, less often confusing them with swipes. How would the swipe sensitivity work for this? I'm still not sure how adjusting this setting is translating when typing. Hi Iona and Harri! I think the latest test build are becoming very close to what the legacy MBraille used to be. Harri, I have tried testing the swipe sensitivity but this gets very frustrating due to the bugs in the settings screen. I almost any time have to unload VoiceOver and load it again when it becomes stuck in there. Hi Ioana! I think I have found the sweet spot here. Set the swipe sensitivity to 28 or 29, that should make MBraille beta more like the MBraille legacy version, at least it feels like here, which is huge. Speaking of lag: Harri, do you know why preview mode is feeling so slow compared to typing speed in MBraille? This is true for backspacing as well. Hi everybody, I made a fix in 0.9.28 that I'm hopeful will fix issues with swipes that Ioana and Jean-Philippe reported. Swipe sensitivity default is 30. As to preview feeling slow, there also were changes in 0.9.28 affecting that, but I'm not sure what version you tested.
