Hi Jean-Philippe, The AI in MBraille store version is currently Gemini, using a paid API key, Google's terms of service state that the data should remain private, and not used for training. So if you trust Google otherwise, you should be good. If I ever change the AI provider, I will make that clear and opt-in. The AI companies keep raising prices, so I'm paying for MBraille AI usage. Subscriptions should cover those for now, let's see how popular it is and if I need to do something about it. It's a nice idea, though I'm a little concerned about privacy. What I like about MBraille's dictation feature is that its off-line, but this translation system require your message to be shared with an AI. I'm not quite sure I like that. What do others think? Cheers, JPR

I was thinking that one way to leverage AI would be to add auto-translation to mail command. So let's say I wanted to write an email in German, I could just add de: to front of the email address. Example: mail de:hans@mpaja.com and MBraille would take the mail body from text buffer, pass it through AI (Gemini) and past it to mail body in German. The MBraille buffer could be in any language, but the mail would be in German.
It would enable correspondence with people having no common language. What do you think?
