Hi everybody, Found it, There was just a missing accessibility localization for the app. Should be fixed in the next release. Best regards, Harri On Tuesday, April 14th, 2026 at 11:39 PM, Harri Pasanen via MBraille-Test <mbraille-test@lists.mpaja.com> wrote:
Hi again,
Testing this, I seem to get the same effect on Android. I switched a test phone to Finnish, and occasionally an American voice is trying to pronounce Finnish, which does not go too well.
This would point to an underlying flutter framework bug, as now it is TalkBack and not VoiceOver that is loosing track of languages.
I need to investigate further.
Best regards, Harri

Hi,
This sounds very strange to me. I'm not telling VoiceOver to use certain language at any point, I don't think it is even possible.
Does it also happen, if you in settings have Use VoiceOver Voice on, and you are not using self voicing?
Best regards, Harri

Hi all non-English users, I would like to raise a small point that may disturb non-technically minded users. Let's take my case as an example, my iPhone is set to French. On Mbrile's home screen, voiceover speaks French but with the English voice. I don't know how that happens but I noticed that when voiceover'slanguage recognition is on, which it is by default, voiceover may sometime; choosethe wrong voice. In the case of Mbrile's home screen, I don't know if something can be done about this. Thanks as always Harry for your wonderful work. Cheers JPR
