Hi all, My theory on what may be happening is that the list selector grabs the command mode downward swipe as well and thinks you want to select the first option in the list. So you confirm the command with swipe down, the list pops up and still sees a swipe down. You could try doing a very short and fast swipe to confirm the command. Hopefully then the list will not think you want to select the first. For now that is just a hypothesis, I will check in the code if I can find any other reason or fix. Be sure to not flick down, that selects the one in focus.
Once you write sms charles for example, and flick down, you should have a list of matches and then flicking left or right should go through them and flicking down once you have the one you want should work.
If not, perhaps you need to reinstall version 26.2.1.
