Hi Joseph, Indeed, MBraille was almost completely rewritten to allow better maintainability and future improvements. MBraille is now also available on Android. The traditional dot commands were retired, now to dial someone, you need to swipe up with three fingers to enter command mode, and then type dial your-contact swipe down to launch the command. You do not need to be at a beginning of line, or end of buffer to do that. So instead of a dot, just swipe up with three fingers. HI all,
I'm a long time user of Mbraille. It has proven itself to be very, very stable for the 10 or so years I've used it. That is, until maybe a few weeks ago. I think Mbraille has been updated because many gestures and swipes have changed. If it has been updated, then this might be the source of my problems.
I can't seem to get the .dial command to work. That is, when I try to dial a number and flick down to have the phone app open, nothing happens other than a return character is being entered. Normally I would type the following: .dial 5554443322 I would then flick down and the Phone app showed. Now, like I said, nothing happens.
I would be grateful for any explanation. 😊
THANK YOU
Joseph
