Hi Harri, For some reason I have 2 MBraille betas installed on my phone. I know that I downloaded the app store version at one point, but I don't know if the last beta was installed over the app store version. The first one that I opened asked to log into my Microsoft account and the other beta version didn't request that. If's confusing to know which beta version I need to use. I thought you had released a completed version to the app store. Please advise me if I need to delete one of these beta versions or both of them and reinstall the app store car version. Hi all, I know this is MBraille test list. That said, I'm dusting of Viskey, the low vision keyboard which has "enjoyed" a similar hiatus as MBraille. In case you are interested, or have friends who might be interested, feel free to spread the word and get in contact with me. I'm aware of Flotype, which is doing a similar thing, but which is English only,. Viskey is multilingual and has a little bit different goals anyway, not so focused on typing fast, more focused on typing accurately and more aimed at low vision users. Target audiences for Viskey are: - Someone who almost can see the iPad keyboard, but not quite - Non English users - People having Achromatopsia - And others who like to type a character at a time Viskey does support VoiceOver, so even fully blind users can use it, but it will not be so different from the stock Apple keyboard for them, maybe worse. French syntax for Calendar

Hi, # Version 26.3.2 ## Fixes - French date range parsing for calendar (cal) command was fixed - Portuguese and Spanish natural language date-time parsing fixed I figured I'll do a firebase release first, as there are also many dependencies that changed with upgraded versions. Orbit Player gone nuts!

OK, this device has been beeping since last night. None of the reset options seem to be working. I've tried holding the home+star key for 15 20 and 30 seconds. Nothing helps. I tried the down arrow plus star. I've tried holding the power button for a very long time. I get a vibration now and then, but I'm about to throw it against the wall. The beeping is not cut off by plugging in a headphone and it is also driving my wife up a wall and she is in another room. I need a way to start it over. No cables are plugged into it... A problem that persists despite the update.

Hello, I updated MBraille today, and I noticed that the issue where the letter q cannot be typed as an uppercase Q is still present. I wanted to let you know as soon as I noticed it. I am a Turkish user using an iPhone 16 Pro Max running the latest version of iOS. Thank you very much for your continued work and support.

Settings accessibililty

Hi, FYI, I got the following feedback from a user trying to use an external braille keyboard: Turns out, the external keyboard option is read by VoiceOver only if I tap the middle of the screen then swipe back and forth. Before figuring out what was happening, I was opening Settings > Input Mode. I then immediately began swiping back and forth wondering why the option for the external keyboard was not presented as explained in the manual. Within the Mbraille app I'm thinking there must be some sort of weird loss of focus by VoiceOver "hiding" what is obviously on the screen. I would also like to add that when I immediately open the Mbraille Settings, the other options in this main menu behave the same way (endless swiping from top of screen to bottom then back to the top of the screen). I need to investigate, but I'm wondering if you ran into this, or something in the way you use VoiceOver navigation circumvents this issue? Best regards, Harri

Issue I encountered in the MBraille update

Hello, I updated MBraille on July 5, but since you mentioned that you were traveling, I’m only writing to you now. The issue where some Turkish characters could not be typed in uppercase has been fixed. However, interestingly, the letter q still cannot be typed as an uppercase Q. All the other letters can now be typed in uppercase. I just wanted to let you know. Thank you.
