Hi, Another round: Reworked again the dot initialization, which keeps resetting on some iOS devices. I have never been able to reproduce this myself, so need to keep iterating until I get all clear from the affected users. Best regards, Harri

A new feature idea

Hi, I was thinking that one way to leverage AI would be to add auto-translation to mail command. So let's say I wanted to write an email in German, I could just add de: to front of the email address. Example: mail de:hans@mpaja.com and MBraille would take the mail body from text buffer, pass it through AI (Gemini) and past it to mail body in German. The MBraille buffer could be in any language, but the mail would be in German. It would enable correspondence with people having no common language. What do you think? Hi, Things changed: - iOS restore purchases fix- iOS dot layout reset fix. On some devices the dot layout would spontaneously reset. - All mail addresses were not correctly recognized, if there was a subdomain, that would fail. - Improved announcements when in list selector. - Enable File sharing on iOS Note that as this a TestFlight build, it will not trigger real purchases and testing the Restore Purchases is limited. Unless something unexpected pops up, I will push this to store, as the above issues are quite severe, even if not everyone is affected. Best regards, Harri

Hi, FYI, I got the following detailed report. Here is the detailed list of our findings: - Continuous Dot Calibration Issue: After performing the initial dot calibration, the app constantly asks to input the dots (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) almost every time a new action is performed. For example, when using a dot command to open a file, before we can even select the file, the app forces us to calibrate the dots again. This significantly slows down the workflow, and unlike in previous versions, there is no option to permanently disable this "learning/exploration" mode. - VoiceOver Speech Integration Bugs: When "Use VoiceOver speech" is enabled in the audio settings, the app's internal prompts and questions are not spoken aloud. - When a dialogue box pops up, VoiceOver remains silent, leaving the user to guess that an option needs to be selected. - Furthermore, because the app constantly interrupts to ask for dot calibration at these prompts, we cannot use the standard one-finger left/right swipes to navigate between the options. - For example, when opening a test .txt file, editing it, and trying to close it, VoiceOver does not announce the "Do you want to save?" question; only the visual option appears. Due to the forced dot calibration screen overlay, it is very easy to accidentally save over the file. If we happen to be at the beginning of the file, it overwrites the entire document. For now, we are forced to use the default built-in self-voicing mode to avoid this. - Cloud Services Sync: Among the available cloud services, only OneDrive seems to work correctly. Other cloud services fail to authenticate or set up properly. - Missing Files App Folder: The dedicated "MBraille" folder has completely disappeared from the native iOS Files app. As a result, we cannot access local MBraille documents via the phone's file manager or when connected to a computer. - The ".read" Command Error: Files cannot be opened for reading using the .read command. It fails to execute properly. Currently, files can only be accessed using the .open command (which opens them for both reading and writing). - Text Selection / Editing Bug in Line View: When editing a multi-line text and attempting to select the second line, the app incorrectly selects, copies, or cuts the first line instead. This action works perfectly fine in Word/Word-by-word view, but it is broken when navigating and selecting by Line view. We hope this feedback helps you fine-tune the app and squash these bugs in the next update. Thank you for your hard work and for keeping MBraille alive! I was only aware of that last one, number 6. Anyway, I should have time tomorrow to go through these and come up with fixes. So be ready for a test version to come your way. Best regards, Harri

hi harri. I had little chance to follow beta process. there are some questions coming from Turkish users. 1. it seems that the facetime command feet is not known. is the any way to use it? 2. people are askin third party keyboard. will it not be available anymore? 3. when I change the language is it possible to change self voice also? it would be great self voice could change accordingly. 4. in prior MBraille, there was a setting which capitalize the first letter after punctuaation like period or exclaim. I could not find it. will it be there again? 5. related to wup command it only opens whatsApp is it possible to add contact and open the related chat window? 6. the misspelled voice or vibration is not coming in my device although I turned it on from settings is the anything can I do? all the best. Hi, Android version is now available at: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mpaja.mbrailleandroid Some users have reported that the old iOS purchase is not getting restored. I will sort this out, but if someone asks you what to do, tell them to send me mail. I will provide a free subscription for a year for them, while I sort it out. Known issues: - there appears to be somewhat rare behavior where the saved dots are not properly restored, and the keyboard gets into a broken state. I'm investigating the root cause. - some Turkish capitalization issues for certain accented characters - Hungarian command translations are missing or only partially complete - preview by line behaves badly for first and last line of text. Problem with MBraille

After installing the regul≈ MBraille, and it working at first, it now no longer works. It asks to initialize the dots, and when that is done, I cannot type at all. I deleted and downloaded it again, and the same problem. There is also no place to pick your braille code. Input settings do not have a braille code option, and neither does the keyboard settings.
