Unable to use restore button function

Hi Harri, I'm having problems using the restore button in the Test Flight current version. When I tap on it, the button will dim for a couple of seconds, but that's it. I have closed out the app from the app switcher and have turned off my VPN to see if that would allow me to use the restore button function, but no such luck. Interupt speech when previewing text

Hi Harri, Is it possible to add an option so that the speech (VoiceOver or self-voicing) can be interrupted if you perform another action in the editor? It would be useful when you want to preview something without typing. Currently, typing interrupts the speech, but it would be great if previewing could also do this. New iOS version 26.0.5 making its way through TestFlight to you

Hi, This is iOS specific release. Let me know if this sorts out the subscription and restore purchases issues. Some iPad specific fixes there as well, and keyboard reset not working thought the settings. Best regards, Harri

Hi everybody, First cut at testing with TestFlight, with Apple production version so this will replace the legacy MBraille if you have that installed: https://testflight.apple.com/join/WdYeKbhB If you have had the legacy MBraille installed, it will be upgraded to this one. Your dictionary and files should remain, but I advice you to copy your files to Dropbox if those are needed, just to be on the safe side. If you haven't had legacy MBraille with Apple ID you are using, you should get a paywall, but it should not cost you anything. Known issues: - Layout reset from Settings does not work on iOS. It does work on Android. - iPad specific issues: 4 finger swipes don't work in an iPad, so resetting the layout is impossible. - iPad now supports landscape, but the keyboard does not like rotations. Combined with the fact that reset is impossible, this his a no-go for an iPad release. Best regards, Harri

26.0.2 for Android available from Play Store for internal testing

Hi, You should see an update in Play Store, if you already installed it. If not, you can try through the link. https://play.google.com/apps/internaltest/4701631759796455338 Main changes have to do with cloud sync. OneDrive should now work, as well as Dropbox and Google Drive. Next I'll promote this release to closed testing, which seems to be a step need prior to production. I will also try to tick the boxes for Apple TestFlight for this. Best regards, Harri

Version jump for store testing

Hi, FYI, the test builds from AppStore and Play Store will be numbered 26.0.x The first official public release will be 26.1.0 Note for Android testers, you will first see a subscription screen with prices. You can subscribe, you will see a "Test card" as payment option, and you will not be charged. I'm not yet sure how this will show up for Apple AppStore, to be seen. Best regards, Harri

Goto command cannot find added apps

Hi Harri! I have just tried to use goto-command along with Todoist. Tested only from Textbuffer, but I suppose the result wouldn't be different in the MBraille keyboard. I typed: .goto Todoist Result: MBraille said no app matched. I tried: .goto Todoist Result: Same as above. Can I share logs from MBraille that can show you anything? Newbie questions

Hello list⠐! I am new to mbraille. I am ann-kathrin from Germany. Well, the idea of a braille overlay to use your phone completely in braille is basically a phantastic idea, but there are still a lot of work to do. M first of all i am an android user, using jieshuo instead o f talkback. When writing mails i need to select the mail program but | i like using it with screen away from me. | i cannot interact with any alerts then. Is there a trick? Second: on android it seems to very much hate whatsapp groups. I give it the name in the command and it tells me phone number for cozy.girls.lounge not found. Is there a way out?
